Vehicle Inspection
Maintaining a safe car will help you to pass your annual registration inspection and bypass the unwanted frustration and costs. We handle both Pink and Blue slips – At SCAC we run Vehicle E-safety checks (previously known as pink slip) which are electronically sent to RMS.
When your vehicle passes the eSafety check, we send the report to Roads and Maritime Services electronically.
If the vehicle fails, you’ll be issued with a “Repairs Needed” report, and you will have 14 days to complete this. After 14 days, the report will expire, and you will need to have a new eSafety check done.
Once all repairs have been carried out, a follow-up check is required from us at no extra charge.
Renewing your eSafety is as easy as visiting Service NSW. This allows you to renew your rego online.
*Trailers that weigh less than 250 kilograms and caravans with a tare weight of less than 411kg do not require an eSafety check.
An eSafety Vehicle Inspection (pink slip) is valid for 28 days.
